It is with great pleasure that I welcome you, on behalf of the children, staff and governors, to Meadowside Community Primary & Nursery School. 
Mrs Claire Curtis - Head Teacher
I am delighted to introduce myself as the headteacher of our wonderful primary school. Meadowside is a highly inclusive school which caters for the needs of all children aged 2-11. Having worked in another local primary school for the past 18 years, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the community that we serve. I am committed to ensuring that our school continues to provide the highest quality education to all our pupils, in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Our school is a warm and welcoming place, where children feel safe and valued. We believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to the success of our students, and we welcome and encourage parental involvement in all aspects of school life.

I am proud to be leading a team of talented and dedicated staff, who are all passionate about providing a curriculum that is stimulating, challenging, and inclusive. At our school, we believe that language development is critical to children’s success in all areas of their lives. We provide a rich and varied language environment, where children are encouraged to express themselves and communicate effectively.

I look forward to working with you all, and to build on the excellent work that has already been done in our school. Together, we can ensure that our students are well-equipped to face the challenges of the future, and to reach their full potential.
