Ludwell Primary School is a small community school located in the village of Ludwell, Wiltshire, which is close to the small market town of Shaftesbury in Dorset.  The school is set in vast and beautiful grounds which the children enjoy using.

At Ludwell Primary School, we are passionate about learning and wellbeing.  We believe that a successful learning community is a happy and supportive one.  We have four mixed year group classes.  The children benefit from our broad and meaningful curriculum and are supported to reach their potential by our dedicated staff.

We seek to create an environment where independent learning, creativity and kindness is at the heart of all we do.  Our children are supported to be focused, kind and safe in their approach with the intention of empowering them to become life-long independent learners.  They are encouraged to take responsibility for themselves and their environment.  One of our strengths is that we aim to put the individual child at the heart of everything we do and actively encourage our pupils to have a voice in our community. We have strong links with our local community.
