Welcome to Ludlow Church of England School.  

We are an 11-16 community school, located in the beautiful countryside of South Shropshire.  Ludlow CE School is an academy of approximately 615 students and is part of the Diocese of Hereford Multi-Academy Trust.  Our school community shares a single vision of "Excellence Together", where staff and students aim to make excellence a habit in all that we do; our teaching and learning, behaviour and care for each other, within a Christian and multi-faith ethos.  We are ambitious in our aspirations for our students and want them to leave us as confident and articulate young people, able to succeed in an ever-changing world.  This "strong moral purpose" was recognised by Ofsted in February 2020, when we were securely judged to be a Good school, under the new Ofsted Framework.  The success of our school is founded on the commitment of our staff, who strive to ensure all of our children have a high-quality education in a safe, happy, supportive and caring learning climate.  Leaders in our school are extremely mindful of staff wellbeing, and ensure we provide personal support alongside professional development opportunities, as well as enabling staff to contribute to planning for school improvement.  We look forward to having the opportunity to meet with you, should you apply for a position at Ludlow CE School.
