About Longtown Primary School
Welcome to Longtown Primary School, part of Cumbria Education Trust, where our philosophy for learning strives for all children to be the very best they can be.
We acknowledge the individuality of each child and aim to give every encouragement and opportunity to develop his or her abilities.
Our children are at the heart of every decision we make and we hope that, by growing within our school community, our pupils will become citizens who contribute positively to society both in their work and leisure activities.
During our recent Ofsted visit, where the school received its very first GOOD judgement, our teachers were praised for bringing learning to life and our children were praised for their impeccable behaviour.
