Welcome to our school!

It is lovely to be able to welcome you to our Linby cum Papplewick Primary School family. 

Linby is a wonderful, voluntary aided Church of England school, set in tranquil grounds in the heart of Linby village.  Our desire as a team is to serve our community by providing excellent primary education through a curriculum which is underpinned by our distinctive Christian ethos and values. Our values support our diverse community where all people feel equally included and valued whatever their faith or non-faith.

A  school with relationships at its heart, our team are committed to helping every child fulfil their God-given potential.  We believe that each child is precious, made in the image of God and to be highly valued, whoever they are and whatever their beliefs.  As such, we are dedicated to providing excellent education, varied opportunities and a curriculum that helps every child to thrive.  Our role is only a part of the journey of each child; we value and partner with parents, the church and the community.

We have an amazing staff team, who are hard-working, loving and committed to providing the very highest standards of education and to adhering to the school’s values and vision (see Mission Statement, Aims and Ethos); a staff that feels privileged to have the wonderful responsibility of caring for, nurturing and educating the children of this community.
