About Lime Academy Abbotsmede

Lime Academy Abbotsmede is a thriving mainstream primary school in the heart of Peterborough with a capacity for 450 pupils aged 3-11 years.  

Our school is filled with happy, enthusiastic students who have a thirst for learning and enthusiasm for the magic that staff bring to our classrooms. We care for all our students and promote positive relationships, providing a high degree of nurture, particularly for those who need that bit of extra support and guidance.  

We have exciting partnerships including those with the Key and New Theatres and IntoUniversity. Our most important partnership, however, is with our children’s families, who are fantastic. They are so appreciative of all of our hard work and are very supportive of our school.  

We are proud of our confident and ambitious staff who work consistently to provide the very best opportunities for the children and young people at our school.
