About Leedon Lower School

Welcome to Leedon Lower School, hidden away on Highfield Road in Leighton Buzzard. We are a three form entry Lower school with a pre-school catering for children aged 2-9 years. We are situated on quite a small site that is bordered by houses and Brooklands Middle School, with whom we have a close working relationship and where a majority of our children go to when leaving us.

We offer a broad and varied curriculum which includes specialist PE and language teaching (Spanish) as well as Forest School for the children in Early Years. We are very proud of our joined up learning across the curriculum with subjects delivered through overarching themes throughout the school.

We have 392 children on roll currently across the school, with Year 3 and 4 situated in a purpose built building that we were lucky enough to have when the school expanded 4 years ago.
