About Lawnside Academy
Lawnside Academy is an Ofsted Good school located in the town of Biggleswade, and a proud member of the Bedfordshire Schools Trust (BEST). In September 2024 we became a primary school as part of the transition to two-tier education in the wider area.
There are around 200 children in our school (from Reception to Year 5). They are at the heart of everything we do and each day our hard-working staff strive to improve the provision, opportunities and experiences that we offer our children.
Lawnside is a values-based school; developing children's social and relationship skills that will last throughout their lives.
Being part of BEST also gives us access to a network of schools in a supportive trust. This allows for the sharing of best practice, resources and expertise, enhancing the quality of education and professional development for staff.
