About Lavendon School

Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of the children, staff,  and governors, I take great pleasure in welcoming you to  Lavendon School. It is an absolute privilege to be the Headteacher of  such a wonderful school community.

Our school strap line ‘Happy School, Happy Children; Achieving Excellence in Education’ epitomises what we are all about.  We work hard to promote a warm and caring community  where children are challenged to achieve endless possibilities. Our commitment  to creating a culture of excellence is contagious and is embedded across our school. We pride ourselves  in providing  an  exciting and creative curriculum where our local links are interwoven. We capture our children’s interests  and talents to help them grow into independent,  confident,  and successful learners. Our dedicated staff work together to ignite an enthusiasm and lifelong passion for learning in every child by giving them the best education. The sea of happy children’s faces and the continuing first-class results achieved are testimony to that.

We firmly believe that the key to promoting successful learning for every child lies in the strong partnership we form with parents and this is important to us.

We are open from 7.45am every day, with our Breakfast Club, and stay open until 6pm with our after-school club. In addition, we have extra-curricular before and after-school clubs including, Dance, Cross Country, Yoga and Mindfulness, Art, Basketball and Gardening Club.

The very best way to find out about our school is to visit us while we are at work. If you would like to do so or require any further information, please contact us. We are always proud to show people around our school.
