Kingsway Community Primary School is part of the Community Academies Trust, a multi-academy with the express purpose of transforming schools into community Hubs, through the application of a holistic view of education. As part of the Trust ethos, each school upholds its own identity and uniqueness.

Kingsway Community Primary School is a one form entry school at the heart of our community.  We are committed to creating a caring and nurturing environment where all children can flourish and show their true potential.  Every child is given the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their skills or abilities through the promotion of a positive 'can do' attitude, underpinned by building strong relationships.  Children are encouraged to be proud of both their individual and collective achievements.

The children are proud of their school, and this is underpinned by the one school rule of ‘Respect’. Children have a developed understanding of our school rule and how this transfers into the wider community. Our school Parliament is an integral part of our community school and contributes to enhancing and improving our school’s processes and environment.  The children are polite and happy and enjoy coming to school. Our children learn through a wealth of exciting and stimulating learning experiences that enhance our curriculum offer, which creates a learning environment where pupils are eager to work hard and inspired to learn.

We are proud of our dedicated and committed staff at all levels who take pride in our school and are continually striving for excellence and have high aspirations for the children they teach.  They pride themselves on creating a warm, friendly, stimulating, and purposeful learning environment which enables children to make excellent progress. To enable our staff to provide the highest quality education, we pride ourselves on offering a range of continuous professional development, which is underpinned through Growing Great People to enable staff to achieve their ‘professional best’.
