Kingsfield is a happy and caring school where we aim to ensure that every child is valued and can realise their potential within a safe and purposeful atmosphere. Education is one of the most important experiences of your child’s life and I must begin by assuring you that it is seen as the highest priority by both myself and my dedicated staff.

Children at Kingsfield begin their learning journey by developing skills of self worth, confidence, respect, tolerance and independence and are encouraged to become self reliant, responsible, highly motivated and well disciplined learners, all skills required to become young adults in modern Britain, hence our mission statement.

Our curriculum aims to broaden the experiences of our children from which we can enthuse and capture the interests and imaginations of them all. We challenge them to think creatively, participate with excitement and develop positive attitudes and high expectations towards learning.

Built in 1908, Kingsfield First School is at the heart of the Biddulph community, located in the town centre.  Deceptive by looks, we are quite a large school with a one and a half form entry and a vibrant Nursery. Fortunately, Kingsfield has a wealth of resources, in addition to the spacious classrooms and our large field and forest school area to the rear of our property.

With the school motto of Learn Together…Play Together…Succeed Together, the essence of partnership grows from the school community and beyond through our strong partnership with the other schools in The Children First Learning Partnership. This partnership has enabled us to share high quality practice, resources and training and also made financial savings by working together to gain contracts and services at better costs and quality.
