We are an extremely popular and successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive, serving south-eastern Huddersfield and surrounding villages.  We have an excellent staff team a of about 120, all working to help our students achieve their full potential.

We are one of the highest attaining 11-16 comprehensive schools in Kirklees and are regularly, heavily, oversubscribed.  We were awarded ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted in November 2019 and, at our most recent inspection in February 2025, Ofsted judged that we had “taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at the previous inspection".
