About Brooksward Day Nursery & Pre-School

Next to Linford Wood, the Kids Play Brooksward Day Nursery & Pre-School is a self-contained building within the grounds of Brooksward School.   Open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, however, the childcare team can offer shorter sessions to match school hours.

Embracing nature-based play, both the Day Nursery & Pre-School have enclosed private gardens. Children can play in the mud kitchen , grow vegetables and enjoy the reading hut. Pre-Schoolers also enjoy weekly Forest School Trips to The Childcare Hub and join in onsite Mini Striker Sessions.

The Nursery is split into rooms depending on the age and development of each child and to prepare children for ‘Big’ School,  the Early Years Foundation Stage is followed.   All the menu’s are created by a qualified nutritionist and Nursery fees include aptamil milk, pampers nappies, all meals and snacks, as well as free story book loan.

The Nursery also has a close relationship with Brooksward School, providing wraparound care with an After School Club and Breakfast Club.
