About James Rennie School
Welcome to James Rennie School
We are an outstanding school for pupils aged 3 to 19 who
have severe or profound learning disabilities and live in the North of Cumbria.
We specialise in communication which supports pupils to make
outstanding progress.
Our inclusive school community helps pupils reach their
personal potential.
Our central ethos - Teaching the person
Our wish is to provide an outstanding education to support
pupils at school, at home, and as they progress to their next steps beyond
school.
To do this we look at each pupil individually and provide
education based on their personal hopes, abilities and needs.
Our School rule - We look after each other
Pupils, staff, parents and our local advisory board members
all know, and live by, the school rule which is ‘we look after each other’.
