Icknield Primary School is a vibrant school whose strong caring ethos is evident as soon as you walk through the door. Our motto 'Believe, Achieve, Succeed' permeates everything we do.
Our vision and ethos support us all in our richly diverse community. We are very proud of our Deaf Provision, serving Luton as a whole, which epitomises our highly inclusive approach to learning.
We have high standards and at our last OFSTED we were judged 'good' with extremely positive comments highlighting our determination to continually improve outcomes for our children.
We have excellent facilities and actively promote professional development for all our staff.
Our School is dedicated to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children and expects all staff members to uphold this commitment. All applicants must be prepared to undergo child protection screening relevant to the position, which includes background checks with previous employers and the Criminal Records Bureau. Those who were born or have lived outside the UK may need to acquire additional overseas checks, which will be the responsibility of the candidate.
