About Horsendale Primary School

I am so proud to be the Head Teacher of Horsendale.  Every day I am lucky enough to work with brilliant children, a fantastic team of staff and governors, and very supportive parents and carers.  We all have high standards and aspirations, and work together in harmony to ensure that our children achieve both academically and socially.

We are renowned for the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our school where relationships and well-being are high priority.  Visitors to Horsendale always comment upon the happy ‘family feel’ that envelops you as soon as you walk in the door.  This ethos of warmth, care and happiness permeates every area of our school and is the foundation on which our success is built.

We pride ourselves on being an innovative, forward-thinking school that is on a continuous journey of self-improvement. Everything we do is based upon our Trust values of unique, exceptional and sustainable.  As a team of children, staff, governors and parents, we strive to be the best we can be.  As Head, I want our children’s primary school years to be some of the best of their lives, so that they can “look back with pride and forward with confidence.”
