About the Role
This is a voluntary position offering a rewarding opportunity to help ensure high standards in education for all children at Honeybourne Primary School. As a governor, you will work collaboratively to support the school’s strategic direction, ensuring effective leadership and accountability. Our Local Governing Body meets five times throughout the academic year to fulfil core governance responsibilities, including:
Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos, and strategic direction.
Holding school leaders accountable for academic performance, attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding procedures.
Overseeing stakeholder engagement within the school and wider community.
About Honeybourne Primary School and Black Pear Trust
Honeybourne Primary School is part of a family of eight schools within the Black Pear Trust, united by our commitment to ‘Growing Excellent Learning Communities Together.’
