Holy Family is a Catholic Voluntary-Aided Primary School catering for pupils aged 4-11 years.  In our school we aim to provide a caring Christian community in which each child can grow both academically and spiritually.  The curriculum we provide is rich and vibrant with the social teaching of the church at the heart of all we do.  We aim to develop curiosity, knowledge, understanding, self-belief, resilience, problem-solving, collaborative working and excellent communication skills.

We believe that parental involvement in the process is crucial and will provide opportunities to keep all parents/carers informed of their child's progress.  We are keen to encourage parental involvement in school life because we believe that a close home/school partnership is critical to the success of the school.  Parents are always made welcome in the school.  We are confident that your child's time at Holy Family will be a happy and fruitful one.

As a Catholic school we aim to develop our children's spiritual needs.  We believe that these needs are met within a community inspired by the teaching and life of Jesus Christ.  The staff within the school work towards each child's fulfilment, assessing individual needs and supporting them towards the realisation of their true potential.  We endeavour to ensure that all children acquire a high level of self-esteem, self-belief, an understanding of their own needs and the needs of others.
