About Holtspur School & Pre-School

A Warm Welcome to Holtspur School & Pre-School.

I am proud to welcome you to our school website and thank you for your interest in Holtspur. We are a friendly, single form entry school in Beaconsfield, at the heart of the community. We have recently had an Ofsted inspection and have retained the grade ‘Good’. We are fortunate to have excellent grounds and facilities, with a dedicated IT suite, outdoor classroom, wellbeing space, adventure playground, extensive wraparound provision, an ARP and a Pre-School on site.

Our school is a child-centred place of learning where pupils feel secure, valued and happy.

Staff know pupils well and put them at the heart of everything they do. As a result, pupils are happy and enjoy coming to school. Ofsted July 2023


All of our children are unique and special and we aim to recognise and cater for their specific needs; developing talents and skills, overcoming difficulties and providing a wide range of opportunities.

Our vision for every child is 'Caring, Inspiring, Achieving' and all members of our school community work hard to help children be the best they can be, developing a positive and open attitude to learning and the confidence to persevere calmly and creatively. We foster caring attitudes underpinned by respect, good manners and showing empathy towards others.

We work closely with parents, families and other members of the community to ensure the wellbeing of our children and are regarded as a caring community school. We are very proud of our pastoral offer and have a full-time dedicated member of staff who leads on pupil wellbeing, supporting all children to flourish.
Through the nurture provision, ‘Flourish’, leaders and staff ensure that pupils’ emotional needs are met and cared for. Ofsted July 2023
