We are a member of the Flying High Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust that supports over 30 primary schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. 

Our children tell us that they are happy, and the staff strive to provide the best possible education for them. We feel strongly that children only get one chance at education, and we want them to leave Hollingwood having achieved their full potential and with a bank of positive memories to look back on. 

Our ambitious curriculum is built around the needs and interests of our children.  We work closely with our local community and look to provide opportunities for our children to ‘Make a mark and leave a legacy.’  Our vision for the children of Hollingwood is that they will grow up to show Respect, Resilience and Responsibility.  Behaviour at Hollingwood is exemplary, and our older children work hard to support the younger children in a range of ways.  We were inspected by Ofsted in October 2024 and inspectors felt strongly that children consistently follow ‘The Hollingwood Way' which is lived out with ‘clarity, consistency and kindness’.
