Welcome to Highfield Farm Primary School

A very warm welcome to Highfield Farm Primary School.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors of Highfield Farm Primary School, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our school.  

Highfield Farm is a small, nurturing school nestled in a quiet, residential area of West Melton, in South Yorkshire. We are a family orientated school with a with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and community approach to school life.

Our school is child centred, inclusive and distinctive, delivering excellence in education, sharing best practice and building aspiration.

Our school values are encapsulated in our school moto,

We live our motto every day with high expectations of ‘kindness’ and ‘respect’ and we all ‘keep trying’. We strive for excellence in all that we do and truly believe that every child will reach their full potential, achieve a sense of belonging, have pride in their achievements and develop positive aspirations for their future.

As a fully inclusive school, everyone is welcome here. We offer a wealth of exceptional learning opportunities though our core and wider curriculum. Working in partnership with families to ensure that our children thrive in and out of school. Reading and engaging in learning opportunities that enrich our children's knowledge and skills are what we promote and celebrate.

Our school is surrounded by a supportive community and an active fundraising group who support the school’s vision. School holds family and friends’ events throughout the year alongside our open-door policy where openness and collaboration is valued.
