About Heycroft Primary School: Heycroft Primary School is dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. We believe in fostering a love for learning and supporting each child's unique potential.

Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to assist in our classrooms. As a volunteer, you will support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, help manage classroom activities and provide additional support to students as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.

·         Support individual students or small groups with their learning activities.

·         Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

·         Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.

·         Supervise students during break times and school events.

·         Participate in school trips and extracurricular activities.

·         Provide administrative support, such as photocopying and filing.

Requirements:

·         A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

·         Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.

·         Reliability and a commitment to the role.

·         Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
