About Hetton Lyons Primary School
Hetton Lyons Primary is a warm and welcoming school, where every child is valued and supported. Our caring and dedicated staff work together to create a safe, secure, and inclusive environment, allowing each child to grow, learn, and reach their full potential.
At Hetton Lyons Primary School, our curriculum is designed to ignite creativity and foster a love of learning in every student. We believe that education should be an engaging and dynamic experience. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, where subjects are taught through creative exploration, encouraging students to think outside the box and develop innovative ideas. Our thematic units allow children to make connections across disciplines, enriching their understanding and inspiring them to express their ideas in unique ways through art, drama, and storytelling. Pupils will be supported to master fundamental concepts in subjects across the curriculum, with teachers taking time to deliver content at an appropriate pace.
