Our vision is for every child within the Hawridge & Cholesbury family to grow, flourish, ‘have life and….have it more abundantly’ (John 10:10 KJV); to be fascinated, rounded, eager to make a difference, spiritual and have high aspirations through Jesus’ teaching and our curriculum.

We live our vision through our natural setting and our school values:

The bible verse that sets our vision statement in context comes from the words of Jesus.

Jesus said ‘I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly’ (John 10:10 KJV).

This, along with our values, underpins our teaching and learning and provides an environment where children leave at the end of each school day so inspired and fascinated by their experience that they are excited to come back and discover more. The opportunities to fully grow, succeed and have fun are in abundance.

 We nurture and enable every child to grow from the moment they join the Hawridge & Cholesbury family through to the moment they leave on the next step of their journey as confident, proactive citizens. We develop rounded individuals who flourish and strive to achieve their best.

 Our curriculum is designed to reflect the rural setting of our school and just like a tree it is deep rooted, broad and brimming with life.
