Welcome to Havelock Academy
Havelock has a distinguished history, serving generations of students as a grammar school, a comprehensive and now as an academy.
At Havelock we want all of our students to achieve well academically and we take great pains to ensure that we have an appropriately broad and balanced curriculum and pastoral structures.
Our community is based on strong relationships and leadership, developed through the house pastoral system. We have eight houses, named after Ross trawlers, who all compete and cooperate with each other in all areas of academy life.
The Havelock Way underpins our entire culture, with good manners, taking pride in ourselves and thinking about others being central to our expectations.
Havelock Academy is part of the David Ross Education Trust.
