About Hartshill Academy
Hartshill Academy is a mixed secondary school for pupils aged 11–16. It is a warm and ambitious school, dedicated to developing the best in everyone through our HART values of Heart, Ambition, Respect and Tenacity, to empower our pupils to explore and transform the world.
Guided by a strong moral purpose and a commitment to excellence, the academy provides a joyful, nurturing environment where pupils can thrive, feel safe and grow in character. Everything we do is built on our values and we strive to challenge ourselves to be even better today than yesterday, knowing that daily practices shape our habits, habits become our character and character is who we are.
The academy is part of United Learning’s cluster of schools in Warwickshire and Leicestershire, working closely with George Eliot Academy, Heath Lane Academy and Nuneaton Academy. This collaboration allows us to share expertise, access joint services, and enrich the educational experience for all.

Hartshill Academy is located in the village of Hartshill on the edge of Nuneaton, surrounded by green space and close to Hartshill Hayes Country Park. The semi-rural location offers convenient access to major routes, including the A5. The academy has recently been completely rebuilt through the Department for Education’s School Rebuilding Programme, creating a modern, net‑zero, purpose‑built environment with specialist teaching spaces, dedicated staff areas and high‑quality facilities that support an ambitious and enriching curriculum.
