Hart Hill’s Vision

Our aim is that ‘We give the world the best we have to make a difference’. This aim is for everyone at Hart Hill Nursery School including staff, children, parents, governors and visitors. We will try our hardest to achieve this aim by having high expectations of ourselves and others and learning about and living our core values.

Hart Hill’s Core Values

At Hart Hill we work by a set of core values which were created in discussion with staff, parents and governors. These values form the foundation of how we all work together. The children learn about them through planned activities, signs 4 feelings and singing and begin to discuss and live the values in their everyday lives.

We believe our values reflect the British Values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Our children are taught to respect each other’s views and opinions and learn about the different beliefs and faiths, so they have a better understanding of people’s views that they may come across in life. This helps to teach them from a very young age the value of tolerance, as way as preparing them for life in modern Britain.
