We are a successful forward thinking Upper School based in a beautiful rural setting in the heart of central Bedfordshire with excellent transport links. We are very lucky to occupy a large site, with lots of grounds for the students. There are tennis courts, football and rugby pitches and a running track. We have a lot of green, outside space for our students to enjoy.
We offer staff the opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive community with talented, caring and dedicated colleagues. From September 2025 we are moving to a 1pm Friday finish to support staff and student well-being. Please see the charter below for our wider approach to staff well-being. We are very proud of our staff and students and prospective candidates are welcome to contact us for a tour of the school.
There are currently approximately 1200 students in the school, including over 300 in the Sixth Form. Students join the school in Year 9. Students of all abilities make good progress and gain excellent results.
