Hamstel Junior School opened in 1914 and has grown to serve its community over the course of the years.  The original 100 year old building is still very much the heart of the school but with a number of new buildings joining onto it along the way! The school has 24 classrooms, 2 playgrounds, a full functioning library, IT suite, outdoor gym, field and all-weather sports pitch and free standing sports hall. We aim to provide as many experiences and opportunities as possible for our children with the Hamstel Habits of courage, determination and excellent to support them along the way.

Children join Hamstel Juniors in Year 3 and continue their education through to Year 6.
