Hamilton School is a specialist setting in Reading for students aged 11–16 with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. We understand that SEMH can affect learning, relationships and wellbeing, so our work focuses on helping students build confidence, skills and positive futures.
Our modern facilities offer purposeful spaces that support tailored learning and personal development. Staff wellbeing is central to our approach. Colleagues are equipped with the training, support and tools needed to deliver high-quality education and to help students thrive.
Hamilton School is part of the Maiden Erlegh Trust Special & AP Hub, which connects specialist teams across the Trust. Through shared practice, collaboration and professional learning, we strengthen provision for pupils with diverse needs.
We value clear communication, empathy and respect as we believe that a supportive and inclusive atmosphere is essential for growth and development. If you are committed to helping young people overcome challenges and achieve meaningful outcomes, we welcome your interest.
