I am extremely proud to be the Principal of Haberdashers’ Slade Green Primary, a nursery and primary school that takes pride in being a happy, friendly, welcoming and inclusive school providing education for children in Nursery from the age of 3, and Reception to Year 6 in and around Slade Green, Erith and Crayford.

Our strong supportive team aims to give children the very best possible start to their education from the age of 3, developing personal aspiration and a lifelong love of learning through the highest quality teaching and learning experiences so they are ready to move on to our secondary provision.

Our focus is firmly set on children and their outcomes and maximising every possibility that exists for them to succeed.

We build successful, collaborative relationships with parents, the local community of Slade Green and other schools in the Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South to ensure that children:

  are able to achieve their full potential personally, academically and socially.
• develop and grow as independent, resourceful and resilient individuals.
• are equipped with the skills, qualifications and love of learning they will need to be successful in the world they will join as adults.

We are fortunate to benefit from an annual bursary from our sponsors, Temple Grove Schools Trust, to enrich the learning experiences of our children including: a Y6 subsidised residential trip, swimming, after school clubs run by professional coaches and external trips to support outdoor learning.
