We are a Good (Ofsted, September 2023) friendly village school in the heart of the community - small enough that every child is known to every adult in school, but large enough to provide a variety of opportunities for our brilliant children. Extensive grounds support our evolving curriculum and high standards of teaching enable children to achieve and succeed in a calm and purposeful atmosphere.
Our membership of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust and our close links with the local church, St. Bartholomew's, help to strengthen our commitment to Christian values such as love, forgiveness and respect for all, and to nurture children's spiritual, moral, social and cultural understanding. In the words of Micah in the Bible, we encourage all members of our school to 'Be fair, be kind and trust in God.'
Our aim is to provide a supportive and nurturing learning environment for everyone - older children are encouraged to care for and support younger children; younger children are taught how to respect and care for each other.
Greens Norton is a school where leaders care about staff well-being and workload. Staff value the support and opportunities they receive to develop as professionals and they are proud to work at the school.
We look forward to welcoming like-minded individuals to join our school!
