About Greenleas School
Greenleas is a popular two site lower school in the pleasant market town of Leighton Buzzard . All our children, staff, parents and carers are members of the ‘Greenleas family’. The friendly nurturing environment supports all our children from the age of two to nine to be happy and confident in their learning. We offer a happy working environment for staff and excellent facilities for our local community.
We are committed to providing children
with a high-quality education in a secure and nurturing setting. Our inspiring
curriculum and dedication to providing quality learning outcomes enables all
pupils to experience “Excellence, Enrichment and Enjoyment” and to achieve
their best. We aim to prepare our young pupils for life in a rapidly changing
society where they will need a high level of self-esteem and confidence, a
positive attitude towards learning, good communication skills and a thoughtful
approach to citizenship. Everyone at Greenleas is respected and valued and
there is equal opportunity for all. The school is relaxed and happy but we
expect and achieve high standards. Discipline is based upon care for each other
and positive reinforcement. Pupils contribute to shaping the school ethos
through the School Council and Eco Committee. Achievements are shared and
celebrated.
