Great Malvern Primary School is a growing and forward-thinking school with a strong nurturing and inclusive ethos. We are proud of our welcoming culture and our commitment to ensuring that every child is valued, supported, and able to thrive. Our aim is to provide all pupils with an excellent start in life through an outstanding education, enriched by a wide range of meaningful experiences.

As an early academy converter, we are one of the founding schools of the Mercian Educational Trust, a small and collaborative trust comprising five Worcestershire schools across multiple sites, along with one school in Herefordshire.

Our school serves a well-established local community with strong family ties across generations. It is not uncommon for current pupils to be the children, grandchildren, or even great-grandchildren of former pupils. Many members of staff also have long-standing connections to the school, having attended Great Malvern themselves, sent their own children here, or living within the local community.

We are proud of how we prepare our learners for the next stage of their education and beyond. Our ALIVE curriculum model promotes Aspirational, Linked, Inclusive, Varied, and Engaging learning, supported by a rich programme of enrichment opportunities, visits, and wider experiences that broaden pupils’ horizons.

Great Malvern Primary School also benefits from strong global links with Martinshamba Primary Schools in Tanzania, which play an important role in enriching our curriculum and promoting global awareness, cultural understanding, and creativity.
