Welcome to Gosford Hill School
It’s a pleasure to welcome you to Gosford Hill School.
Our pledge to our young people is to provide a Great Curriculum, High Expectations and Strong Relationships. We pride ourselves on the emphasis that we place on the needs and aspirations of individual students with learning very much at the heart of our work. We want our students to develop as Responsible, Respectful and Resilient and autonomous learners, keen to overcome challenges, and take risks, so that they gain the transferable skills needed to enable them to lead fulfilling lives as confident and articulate individuals in our society.
Our school development plan is tightly focused around:
- Improving attainment for all students
- Improving attendance and engagement
- Improving the quality of Teaching and Learning
- Improving the quality of our Curriculum and assessment
Outside of the classroom we have many opportunities on offer for students, including trips, visits and extra curricular activities, together with many leadership opportunities through our Student Leadership model.
Our vision is to be an outstanding school, recognised both locally and nationally, that provides an outstanding creative education for all its students and prepares them for life after Gosford Hill as responsible members of society. We work closely with parents, and it is our belief that where the school, individual student and their parents work closely together, students will succeed.
