About Gomeldon Primary School

Gomeldon Primary School is a unique school in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We have such brilliant pupils and families that create a strong community atmosphere. The school is calm and purposeful with the learning behaviours in all classes consistently strong. We have an excellent and experienced group of staff that know our pupils well, work hard and deliver a great education in this stable school.

The building is over a hundred years old, with some newer classroom additions and we have recently installed two play trails. We are also lucky enough to have a playing field and a lovely pond area. 

Our pupils join us from all over the local area, with only about 30% of our pupils coming from catchment area and we find parents who value our village school experience are willing to drive from further afield. However, our semi- rural setting sees our SEND, FSM and disadvantaged pupil numbers lower than the average for the county. 

We have high expectations of our pupils, and they meet our expectations as we guide them along their Primary School career. All in all, Gomeldon has all the ingredients to be an exceptional School.
