About this Role

We are recruiting barbering professionals to join our Hair and Beauty team and welcome applications from both experienced, qualified lecturers or industry specialists looking to move into teaching.

You will deliver engaging barbering sessions that include both practical skills and underpinning theory, supporting learners from Levels 1 to 3, including work with real clients. You’ll help learners build confidence, develop their skills and prepare for employment within the industry. We welcome applications from both experienced, qualified lecturers or industry specialists looking to move into teaching.

Working across our campuses, you’ll use our professional salon facilities to create a real-world learning experience. Teaching takes place during the week, with a mix of daytime and some evening sessions. You’ll also be supported to complete relevant teaching and assessor qualifications if needed.

About You

  • Recent industry experience in the barbering sector.  
  • Qualified to Level 2 Barbering
  • PGCE or DTTLS or Certificate in Education (or willingness to complete).
  • Assessors’ Award (or willingness to complete)
