About Glade Academy

Glade Academy is a primary academy within Brandon, Suffolk and is part of Eastern Multi Academy Trust. The academy provides education to children aged  4-11 and hosts one of Brandon's pre-schools, Brandon Fledglings, within it's campus, providing an on site nursery provision for children aged 2-5.

We are committed to fostering a child-centred environment where their interests and needs are paramount.  Our staff work as a team to engage children in all aspects of their learning and to model our core values of Respect, Resilience and Teamwork in every interaction we have with our children, staff and whole community.

We recognise that every child is unique, with different strengths and areas of need.  We work hard to build supportive relationships with each of our children, recognising and celebrating their achievements with them, and identifying and assisting with their development. Working together, we strive to create a learning environment which will result in every child developing confidence, self-esteem, independence and the ability to build and maintain successful, healthy relationships, with a lifelong love of learning.

We actively invest in our staff, providing dedicated professional development time for both teachers and support staff, which continues the development and strengthens the pastoral and educational offer delivered to our children.
