A warm welcome to Giffard Park Primary School. We are a dedicated, hard-working, friendly staff team who all work very closely to support children's growth and learning.
Giffard Park is a local authority Primary School, that caters for Early Years Foundation Stage (3-5 years old), which includes a pre-school and reception classes, Key Stage 1 (5-7 years old) and Key Stage 2 (7-11 years old).
We have high expectations, inclusive approaches and aim for Giffard Park to be an inspirational and exciting place of learning – a place where all children strive to achieve their full potential within a supportive and caring community. We firmly believe in our mission statement: 'Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve' and encourage children to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop skills which make them lifelong learners.
Our rich, broad and balanced curriculum aims to encourage children to develop the skills they need in later life with a strong focus on pupils embedding learning from the breadth of the curriculum into their long-term memory. We track our children’s progress very carefully and ensure that everyone knows their next steps for learning. We also consider the whole child and aim to develop individuals who will make a positive contribution to society and are able to live by our SMART values as well as the core British values.
Our co-curriculum offer compliments the core curriculum and provides opportunities for all pupils in wider enrichment activities, such as clubs, visits and visitors, which ensures pupils leave us in Year 6 ready to succeed in the next stage of their education and to relish future opportunities and challenges.
We welcome visits to the school. The best way to get a feeling for what Giffard Park can offer you and your child is to come and see us in action! Please get in touch and I will look forward to meeting you.
