This role is based at Gainsborough Primary School, 10-14 Gainsborough Road, Stratford, London,  E15 3AF


In this role, you will support the education and welfare of all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as directed by the Class Teacher and SENDCo. The post holder will work flexibly across the school to support the delivery of the curriculum, promote the inclusion of all children, and provide targeted 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs. You will share in the corporate responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils, having due regard to the school’s aims, objectives, policies, and relevant national requirements.

We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work in our school. For this role, a good standard of English and Maths are required. The successful candidate should have some understanding of the role of a Teaching Assistant and previous experience of working with children.  You will need to be flexible, have a genuine interest in helping children to engage in physical, academic and social activities and enjoy working as part of a team.
