Welcome from the Headteacher 

About us: Foxdell Infant School first opened its doors in 1972 with Foxdell Junior School opening soon after in 1974.   The two schools were federated in May 2018, and have now amalgamated into a Primary School in April 2022. It is a very exciting time for us! 

The schools are both situated on Dallow Road, Luton but are on two separate sites (Infant site and Junior Site) approximately half a mile apart.

I am very proud to be the Headteacher of the Primary School, and am delighted to lead a fantastic team of staff encouraging amazing children to flourish.  Together, in partnership with home, we aim to provide a sound learning environment allowing children to lay firm foundations on which to build. We believe that a child who develops a love of learning is more likely to make good progress and a child who makes good progress is more likely to carry those skills forward in life. 

We are committed to supporting the development of our children, academically, physically, emotionally and socially, giving them the very best of learning experiences.  To this end we offer an innovative curriculum employing exciting themes and resources complemented by a broad range of extra-curricular activities including a variety of school visits with residential opportunities in our Junior School.  To bring an added dimension to the children`s learning we also welcome, throughout the year, a variety of visitors. 

We believe that we can only achieve the best for the children in our care through developing a close relationship between home and school.  There are many opportunities for parents to find out about, and share in the education of their children including celebration assemblies, curriculum overviews and our fortnightly Primary School newsletter.
