About Fox Hollies School
On behalf of the students, staff and governors, I would like to welcome you to Fox Hollies School. Fox Hollies is a Special School for students aged 11-19 with severe and complex learning disabilities.
We are a small school for approximately 116 students and this allows us to maintain small class sizes with a high ratio of teachers and teaching assistants who get to know our students really well as individuals and personalise the learning for them.
At Fox Hollies, every individual is valued. We recognise that our students have many barriers to learning and so we aim to deliver a curriculum that offers motivation and purpose for each individual and builds on and celebrates each small step of progress.
Our curriculum is designed to give our students a breadth of quality learning experiences that enrich their lives, whilst also building on key communication, functional, social and life skills that will better equip them for life outside and beyond Fox Hollies.
Our passion for creativity and the Arts drives our curriculum and our links with the local community offer real and relevant learning experiences beyond the classroom.
We work closely with parents, carers and a range of professionals to ensure that we meet the very diverse learning and communication needs of our students and support them to overcome or manage their barriers to learning.
