The
duties of the TLR
are to support the strategic direction and
development of the school in cooperation with and under the direction of the
Executive Head and Head of School to:
- As a middle leader, support the vision, ethos and policies of the
school and promote high levels of achievement
- Identify relevant school improvement
issues; support the implementation of the school strategic plan,
especially as it relates to teaching and learning.
- In
collaboration with the Deputy Headteacher responsible for curriculum,
ensure that the Strive Pathway is ambitious, coherently sequenced and
designed to support pupils in achieving aspirational destination outcomes
- Define and agree appropriate
improvement targets for strive development.
- Support all staff in achieving the
priorities and targets the school sets and monitor the progress of those
within strive.
- Evaluate the impact of all improvement
activities on the quality of teaching and learning within strive pathway.
- In partnership with the Senior
Leadership Team, strengthen the quality of teaching and the pedagogical
approach within the pathway, ensuring staff have access to high-quality
professional development and the knowledge and skills required to deliver
the curriculum effectively.
- Monitoring academic progress of
students across the pathway
- Ensure that parents are well informed
about the curriculum, targets, children’s progress and attainment across strive.
- Engage with current educational
research and professional networks to identify and implement
evidence-informed approaches across the pathway.
- Lead on Schools Career’s and
Accreditation offer.

Contract: Full Time Maternity
Cover – Fixed Term Contract Permanent – part-time will be considered for the right candidate

Salary: Qualified Teachers Pay
Scale Range + TLR2C and SEN allowance
