Enrich Academy is a KS4 Alternative Provision providing education for Year 10 and 11 pupils, based over two sites in Wakefield: Crofton and South Kirby. All pupils at Enrich have either been excluded from their mainstream school or are on a shorter step-out programme before returning to their mainstream school.

We specialise in supporting students with Social, Mental, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our nurture-based philosophy underpins our practice and ensures that we meet the individual needs of every student.

At Enrich Academy we provide a caring, stimulating, safe and welcoming environment where learning is enjoyable and where teaching is flexible to meet the needs of students by personalising the curriculum to challenge ability and raise aspirations. Our curriculum is complimented by wider experiential learning and enrichment activities, opening up new experiences and opportunities that our pupils may not have had the chance to experience in the past.
