Eastgate Academy is a primary academy in King’s Lynn and is part of Eastern Multi Academy Trust.  Our Team have high aspirations for all children and provide a stimulating and challenging environment where all children can excel.  In 2017, Ofsted rated Eastgate Academy "Outstanding" in all areas, saying that “children receive both an outstanding academic education and highly effective support for their emotional well-being”.  In May 2023, our team were delighted to receive a continued rating of "Outstanding" in all areas by Ofsted. 

Our caring environment provides children and their families the opportunity to be actively involved in academy life.  Wellbeing is integral to what we do to ensure that our children feel safe, productive and are set up for success in their learning.  This in turn helps us develop, nurture and empower our children to become confident problem solvers.

Our well-maintained site boasts an array of wonderful and unique facilities in an urban setting, including an outdoor learning area, science garden with pond, a mini vegetable and flower garden, meditation room for children from Year 4 to 6 and a pet area which includes rabbits, guinea pigs and birds for the children to interact with if they are having a difficult day.

Our team work together to support educational excellence and ensure that our community is at the heart of everything we do.  We have community initiatives including foodbank and ‘swap clubs’ for clothes and books. Our children learn best when they are engaged and enthused by what they are doing. Our enrichment offer has a range of unique and exciting extra-curricular activities and opportunities, including fencing, cake baking competitions and a Lego club.

Our aim is for each child to receive an excellent education that instils life skills and helps each child to develop essential skills to navigate, understand and appreciate the world around them.
