As a Church of England school, our aim is far wider than ensuring each child makes exceptional academic progress. Daily Collective Worship, combined with a high quality RE education, ensures children learn the teachings of Jesus Christ, giving them the perfect example of how we can live a fulfilling life, contributing positively to society and ensuring the vulnerable (and marginalised) are protected. We want all our pupils to become champions of social justice and independent changemakers, which in turn will create a far more loving and compassionate world. Prayer and reflection are key elements of life at DBJA and both are purely invitational.
