About Dordon Primary School

Our school offers the opportunity to work in a nurturing and creative environment where we seek the very best outcomes for each of our children as individuals. The size of our schools mean there is a strong sense of community where everyone is an important piece in the jigsaw. Although we are single form entry, there is an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues at our partner school – Wood End Primary School.  
Staff in our school are instrumental in laying the foundation of outstanding standards of education and creating a stimulating and purposeful environment where our pupils can make excellent progress. We offer continuous professional development to support staff in reaching their ‘professional best’. 
We are a school of over 200 energetic and enthusiastic children who are welcoming, inclusive and tolerant. We provide exciting learning experiences and our pupils love to come to school. Our pupils are eager to learn and hard working. They play an active part in school life influencing decisions through the Pupil Parliament. 
The community spirit at Dordon is strong with everyone working together to achieve the best outcomes for all of our pupils. We develop confident learners who love to explore the world around them by 'Ensuring Excellence'

Dordon Primary School is part Community Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust with the express purpose of transforming schools in community Hubs, through applying a holistic view of education.
