Welcome to Cotton End Forest School and Preschool. We now accept children aged 2-11 years of age, offering a seamless education through to the end of Key Stage 2 for our pupils. Forest School is an approach to education that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment.

We pride ourselves on developing the uniqueness of each individual child, understanding their needs and providing a caring, inclusive learning environment where our pupils are happy to learn. Our recent Ofsted inspection (February 2017) confirmed this by stating that ‘pupils thrive in the positive and encouraging environment’.

Staff at school are dedicated to providing the best opportunities for every child with our caring ethos which reflects our motto of Inspire, Enjoy, Achieve.

We practice Values education which is based on valuing self, others and the environment as the basis of good educational practice. It encourages adults to model values and to teach individuals the skills to be effective learners and good citizens.
