Head of Year

Salary: MPS/UPS + Management Grade 2

We are looking to appoint an inspirational Head of Year who has a passion for working with students to help them achieve beyond their aspirations. 

Are you able to:

• To lead and manage the year group on a day-to-day basis

• Lead a team of form tutors

• Ensure the behaviour and standards across the year group are high

• Overview the progress and attainment of the year group and liaise with subject leaders

• Overview and improve pupil attendance

• Deliver assemblies

• Contribute to the pastoral system including on call, reflection room duties etc

• Liaise with parents/carers and develop strong relationships

• Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to support our students and families

• Work closely with other members of the wider pastoral team including attendance and safeguarding

• Ensure a wide range of personal development and enrichment opportunities are provided for the year group

• Supporting the well-being and overall pastoral care of our young people
