About this Role

At Castlebridge School we provide a creative and nurturing space for 30 pupils aged 7 - 16. Primarily we support those with autism who have faced challenges in mainstream education and may have developed strategies of school/ learning avoidance. This is your chance to be part of a vibrant, ambitious team that dares to do things differently and puts young people at the heart of everything. If you're passionate, creative and ready to make a real impact, Castlebridge is where your skills will truly shine.

  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, communication, and engagement in learning.
  • Contribute to assessments, observations, and progress tracking using systems such as White Rose and Arbor
  • Work collaboratively with families and multi-agency professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

  • Experienced in supporting children — ideally those with special educational needs.

  • Skilled in communication, both written and verbal, and comfortable using digital learning systems.

  • Reliable and resilient, with a genuine passion for helping young people grow and succeed.
  • Ideally a driver, with a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, to support off-site learning, home visits and wider school activities (desirable, but not essential)

If you bring dedication, creativity, and a willingness to learn, we’ll support you all the way.
